In this section, we periodically collect answers to the most frequently asked questions about participating in our activities. If you cannot find the answer to your question, please contact us directly and we will provide you with all the information you need.
ORGANIZATION
During the booking process, we provide all the information needed to reach the embarkation location. On our website and in our communications, you will find all details regarding embarkation and disembarkation points, schedules, and meeting locations.
Travel arrangements and all related expenses are in no way borne by, or the responsibility of, the Company.
ACCOMODATIONS
Cabins are not pre-assigned. You and the other guests, with the assistance of the onboard staff, will arrange yourselves among the cabins, which have similar features and identical equipment.
When choosing, cooperate as a good crew, trying to accommodate everyone’s needs and keeping in mind that cabins are mainly used for resting.
If there are available berths, the crew will sleep in a cabin. When the boat is fully occupied, the dinette will be converted into a sleeping area.
On boats equipped with a crew cabin, the crew may use that accommodation.
For operational or supervision reasons, the crew may choose to sleep in the dinette or in outdoor areas, which must therefore be kept available for this purpose.
SAILING LIFE
Space on board is limited, so it is important to use it as efficiently as possible. For this reason, hard suitcases or trolleys are generally not suitable and cannot usually be brought on board.
That said, we understand that after a long journey your luggage may be large or rigid. We kindly ask you to keep it as compact as possible, but we will always find a way to store it.
Tip: use a soft bag. If you prefer wheels, consider bringing a foldable luggage trolley.
Everyone who starts sailing tends to bring too much, but over time you realize that only a few essential items are actually needed.
Depending on the season, you should choose clothing suitable for both living on board and sailing comfortably.
Days on board can be very warm, but after sunset or in strong winds it can become cool and humid.
A non-exhaustive packing list (excluding personal items and evening wear) may include:
- T-shirts
- long-sleeve polo/shirt
- fleece/sweatshirt
- casual or sports trousers
- shorts
- sneakers / sailing shoes
- sunglasses
- windbreaker jacket
- swimsuit
- hat
- thermal base layers (winter only)
Tip: don’t worry if you don’t have technical sailing gear—just bring comfortable, warm clothing. For thermal wear, stores like Decathlon or similar offer everything you need.
When docked in port, the situation is similar to home: onboard outlets can be used to charge phones and other devices.
During navigation, charging may be possible—subject to the skipper’s permission—via USB sockets or a portable inverter.
Tip: power banks are very useful, as they can be charged when possible and used to recharge smartphones and tablets multiple times.
Fresh water on board comes from the tanks, which are filled before departure and whenever possible during the trip.
We select boats also based on their autonomy, but water is always a limited resource. With a bit of care, it can be managed without inconvenience.
Tip: never let water run unnecessarily—even at home!
FOOD AND BEVERAGE
We offer a full provisioning service, including selection, purchase, and stowage of the galley, so that the boats are ready to sail upon guests’ arrival. We also manage supplies throughout the itinerary, prioritizing fresh and local products.
Typically, breakfasts and lunches—interspersed with snacks and aperitifs—are enjoyed onboard. Breakfast is usually served while moored in port or anchored in a bay, while lunch is generally served at anchor.
Breakfast (normally between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m.) and lunch (normally between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m.) times may vary depending on weather conditions and the day’s sailing schedule.
Dinners are usually taken ashore at local restaurants that we will be happy to recommend at each stop along the itinerary. Upon request, dinner onboard can also be arranged, although both the service and the required provisioning will incur an additional cost.
Our cuisine is based on fresh and flavorful dishes: rich and colorful salads, fish when available and of good quality, mozzarella, baked vegetables, sometimes pasta, and upon request also some meat.
It reflects the typical cuisine of a Mediterranean home—simple yet well-prepared—with a galley refreshed daily using seasonal and local products.
Each meal generally consists of a main dish accompanied by various side dishes.
Breakfast is rich and abundant and includes milk, coffee, tea, Greek yogurt, honey, cereals, fruit, Nutella, bread, rusks, biscuits, juices, and dried fruit. For those who prefer a savory breakfast, cured meats, fresh eggs, and toast are also available.
A few days prior to embarkation, the booking contact will be asked to provide information about the participants, including any dietary preferences or intolerances.
We will do our best to accommodate these requests, subject to local availability of products, and to prepare a galley that takes into account the reported intolerances.
However, due to the nature of onboard spaces and equipment, it is not possible to guarantee the absence of cross-contamination of food.
The use of the stove is reserved for the crew. However, the galley is always available to guests for preparing fresh food that does not require cooking.
Participation in onboard life—including meal preparation and related activities such as setting and clearing the table—is always welcomed and encouraged.
CREW
You will be welcomed and supported by two people on each boat: a skipper and a crew staff member. Not many organizations provide two people on board; for us, this has always been an essential requirement to ensure complete, safe, and well-organized experiences in every detail.
If an activity involves only one crew member or a different crew structure, this will be clearly indicated in the activity description.
The skipper is responsible for all decisions regarding navigation and the safety of the boat and crew.
They encourage collaboration, share knowledge of sailing and seamanship, and involve those who wish in maneuvers, steering, and mooring operations.
During more demanding navigation moments, should they occur, the skipper requires that all instructions be followed promptly to ensure your safety and that of the entire crew.
Note: this has never happened, but if any participant behaves in a way that jeopardizes the safety or well-being of others, the captain has full and unquestionable authority to disembark those responsible.
The crew staff supports the skipper in managing the boat, maneuvers, and the group. They plan and organize both onshore and onboard activities, prepare the boat together with the skipper, and—when applicable—handle the initial provisioning and manage supplies to offer you a journey that is also a culinary experience.

The crew is the most important element for the success of a trip, and everyone is part of it—each contributing their own skills, abilities, and personality.
When everyone collaborates, onboard tasks become quick and simple, time is used efficiently, and the journey flows smoothly—allowing you to enjoy, explore, and sail through as many places and experiences as possible.
Each participant will take part in shared activities such as cooking teams, dishwashing teams, or preparing aperitifs—fun moments that encourage connection and group spirit.
