  • THE ROUTE
    Miles of sailing, iconic passages, islands, straits and sheltered bays. A rewarding and educational route, different every day, following a one-way itinerary that will deliver great emotions and help build confident sailors.
  • PLANNING
    We will monitor weather updates and carefully plan each day’s route, reviewing nautical charts to assess distance, sailing conditions, passages, stops and shelter options.
  • SAILING
    Whenever conditions allow, we will hoist the sails and navigate powered by the wind. Everyone will learn how to move on a sailing boat underway, and those who wish can take part in maneuvers and steer the boat.
  • MOORING AND ANCHORING
    Each day we will anchor in different bays, practicing how to properly plan and execute anchoring maneuvers, even in crowded anchorages. In harbors, we will learn how to manage docking and departure maneuvers.
  • LIFE ON BOARD
    Living on a boat requires organization and teamwork. We will learn what matters most to manage onboard life effectively, avoiding waste and living in harmony with others and with the environment.

    Our embarkation and disembarkation bases will be Catania and Malta, both well connected to major Italian airports with frequent and affordable flights.
  • What will the weather be like?
    Sicily in summer offers very warm and generally calm days, occasionally interrupted by brief showers that have become more common in August in recent years. The Maltese Islands are very warm but also benefit from a steady and often strong mistral wind. The climate, both at sea and on land, is very pleasant, and sea temperatures allow for long, enjoyable swims.
  • I’m traveling alone — can I join?
    Of course. All our activities are open to individual travelers as well as small groups — a fun way to sail and meet new people.
